Over the past 20 years, John M. Bustamante has focused on complex civil litigation throughout the country.
A fifth-generation Texan, John grew up in San Antonio. After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Texas School of Law, John went to work for one of the largest firms in the world and then later, a large intellectual property law firm in Austin. During his time at these firms, John worked on cases and trials where hundreds of millions of dollars were at stake.
Over the past decade, John has worked for intellectual property boutique firms in Austin while growing his law practice and family in San Antonio. John focused on the details of complex litigation at every stage of litigation to effectively fight for his clients.
John serves on the Zoning Commission of the City of San Antonio and has previously served as Chair of the Zoning Commission, a member of the Planning Commission for the City of San Antonio, and as Treasurer of the Roosevelt Park Neighborhood Association.
