Gino Serpe is licensed in California, Connecticut, and New York, and practices business and commercial litigation.

An “AV” rating by Martindale- Hubbell means that an attorney has the highest ability and highest ethics and is awarded to less than 5% of lawyers in the United States. He is a fellow with the Litigation Counsel of America, a distinction afforded to only 3,500 lawyers in the United States, and is recognized as a Super Lawyer, a distinction for only 5% of attorneys.

Whether your dispute arose from a contract dispute, partnership fall out, fraud, real estate, foreign judgment enforcement, or securities and intellectual property issue, Gino’s experience within both the State and Federal courts allow him to advocate for his clients.  Gino concentrates his litigation practice on prosecuting and defending actions on behalf of clients in federal and state courts, and alternative dispute resolution
proceedings. He has litigated a variety of cases involving breach of contract, business torts, commercial real estate, fraud, securities fraud, unfair business practices, voidable/fraudulent transfers, and trade secrets.

Gino has also been actively involved in public service with community and bar association activities. He has lectured and written about evidence, trial procedure, ethics and professional responsibility. He was the President of the San Diego Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, was a member of the Legal Ethics Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association and was for about 10 years a contributing editor and author for the leading California and Federal trial and evidence practice guides by The Rutter
Group.

In his free time, he envoys a variety of interests and hobbies including, the beach, painting, acting, movies, theater, tennis, and pool shooting.
