Robert Devine is a licensed attorney in the state of Florida. He earned an undergraduate degree in Journalism, as well as his law degree from the University of Florida. Robert has more than 25 years of legal experience both with law firms and large corporations.

After starting in private practice, Robert focused on labor & employment law as well as heading up the firm’s business immigration practice. After becoming a Shareholder at the firm, Robert moved on to corporate practice serving various roles at Southeastern Grocers. While at Southeastern Grocers, which was a chain of more than 400 grocery stores throughout the Southeastern United States, Robert headed up the company’s labor & employment group which managed nearly 50,000 associates. Robert moved on to an expanded role in the company serving as its Head of Litigation, before moving further to become the company’s Head of Field Human Resources.

Robert then moved on to be the Chief Litigation Officer at Stein Mart, which was a national department store chain. Shortly after his hire, he was promoted to the Executive Team to serve as its Chief Legal Officer. Robert then took on a different role with the Acosta Group, serving as its Chief Litigation Officer. Given his wide experience with three multi-billion dollar companies, Robert has multiple years of experience in several areas of corporate law and human resources.

Being part of the Woolsey Morcom General Counsel Program, which provides advice for companies that have a supplemental need for in-house counsel work and acting as an advisor to companies that do not have a fully developed in-house counsel program. Woolsey Morcom’s assistance in these areas create a strong presence at a reduced cost.
